Dental Staff

Dr. Brittany A. Rashid is a Michigan native. She completed her undergraduate studies at Michigan State University with a bachelor’s degree in Human Physiology. She then completed her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the top dental school in the country, the University of Michigan. Upon graduation, Dr. Rashid moved to Chicago where she practiced General Dentistry for five years. 

In 2020, Dr. Rashid became the owner dentist at Bourbonnais Family Dental where her and her team strive to provide top dental care. Dr. Rashid enjoys treating the whole family. She focuses on comprehensive dental care, patient education, and treating patients with dental anxiety. Dr. Rashid loves spending time treating children and introducing them to preventative dental habits. She is an advocate for patient education and encourages every patient to achieve a healthy smile. 

Dr. Rashid is an avid learner. She is currently undergoing rigorous training from the Dawson Academy. This focus is on comprehensive dental care and treating patients with TMJ disorders. Dr. Rashid is on track to complete the Dawson Academy Program in 2025 as a Dawson Scholar.  

Dr. Rashid also underwent training from the American Academy of Facial Esthetic in Botox and Dermal Fillers. She treats patients interested in a youthful appearance as well as patients in need of relaxing tight clenching muscles to alleviate headaches and other muscle pains. 

Outside of the office, Dr. Rashid enjoys traveling and being by water. She loves exploring Chicago restaurants and eating unique foods. 

Dr. Rashid is an active member of: American Dental Association, Illinois State Dental Society, Chicago Dental Society, Academy of General Dentistry. 

Aryn started her career as a Registered Nurse at Northwestern Memorial Hospital. With her minor in business, she started working at Bourbonnais Family Dental in 2020 as the Practice Administrator. Aryn manages everything behind the scenes to ensure the practice runs smoothly and efficiently for optimal patient care. Outside of the office, Aryn enjoys spending time with her family and learning.

Daniella has been in the dental field since 2017 in varying positions from pediatric dental assisting to insurance coordinator. Daniella uses these skills to enhance her role here at Bourbonnais Family Dental as the scheduling coordinator. Daniella enjoys joining the clinical team to ensure her pediatric patients have a positive and memorable introduction into the dental field. Daniella is certified in prophylaxis and pit and fissure sealants. When Daniella is not in the office she enjoys traveling and exploring the outdoors with her three dogs and fiancé or diving into a good book.

Lacey has been in the dental field since 2019 in many different positions ranging from pediatric clinician to chairside assisting Dr. Rashid. Lacey enjoys being versatile and being able to help in any way she can. Lacey is passionate in providing patients with a positive experience. When Lacey is not in the office, she likes to spend her time finding new places to explore with her 2 babies! 

Erika graduated from Fox College’s Dental Hygiene Program in 2021. Her goal as a hygienist is to make her patients as comfortable as possible. She is continually expanding her knowledge through continuing education. Outside of the office, Erika enjoys visiting national parks and traveling as much as she can. She is also an avid reader and loves her pets.

Heather graduated from Parkland College Dental Hygiene program in 2015. She enjoys building relationships with her patients and educating them on optimal oral health. Heather’s goals include continually learning new technology, and she would like to someday start a community outreach program. Outside of the office, Heather loves spending time with her family, reading, and adding animals to the family farm.

Cora graduated from Parkland College Dental Hygiene program in 2000. She has enjoyed all the new advances in her career! Cora loves getting to know her patients, and considers many of them friends. Cora and her husband have 2 daughters, ages 20 and 16. She enjoys anything outdoors, especially the beach.

Allie started her career as a Registered Nurse at Indiana University North Hospital. After the birth of her daughter, she moved back to the area to be near family. Allie works alongside Dr. Rashid as her chairside dental assistant. She enjoys working at Bourbonnais Family Dental with her twin sister Aryn. Outside of the office, Allie enjoys visiting Chicago and spending time with her family.
